Excellently curated secondhand bookshop. Often has stuff from my list that may have proven hard to find at other stores.

Large general interest selection, tightly curated and presented. As expected in a town that hosts RISD, an excellent arts and photography section, as well as history, music, and nautical themes. Well rounded fiction, children's books, mystery, music and if that’s not enough, this store is clean and tidy, well lighted, parking by the door and on the street. There is always good music on and some nice art hanging around, too. Coffee across the street, what more can you ask for?

Great shop, we found some fiction and a few harder to locate research things. Did I mention the wall of sociology and Buddhist books downstairs?

This store is amazing...from first editions to whatever topic you might need. A place to get lost in over and over again.

It's got a basement for more books! It was a lot of fun looking at all these books that have been so carefully organized. There are also little things around that are cute and some are for sale, like a mustache guard tea cup.

Fantastic selection of used books. Some great finds in Philosophy and Poetry section. Worth the patronage

Fantastic! well curated and beautifully organized bookstore. Two floors of clean, fairly priced books, with an especially strong selection of art books, classics, and poetry. There is also a surprisingly robust collection of first editions. The owner has an exceptional eye for what true book fiends are searching for. In addition to books, there is a lovely selection of ephemera, old maps, photographs, and other paper treasures that make browsing a joy. A small but thoughtful collection of art and ceramics rounds out the experience. This has quickly become my favorite bookstore and is absolutely worth the trip!

I was lucky enough to come across this store during my daughter’s Birthday weekend. A true GEM! 💎 Everything inside has been acquired & orchestrated with care & passion. A delight for the eyes, mind & spirit. The staff & owner were lovely & helpful. I can’t wait to go back. Well worth a travel to go see & I’ll be visiting from an hour & a half away. Thank you!

An absolutely stunning bookstore with rare and antiquarian books as well as a huge selection of various used books from an eclectic assortment of genres. Comfortable, cozy, clean, and well appointed shop. The owner is a lovely soul that is delightful to talk to and to work with. She was very helpful and kind I look forward to visiting again the next time I'm in Providence.
